HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
YEAR TWO // PART TWO
I shared some of our two year anniversary photos last week. Well, after the shoot, Dawn stuck around for our bonfire and s'mores and captured a few more images. We even got to play around with sparklers!

YEAR TWO // PART ONE
Back in July, Boo and I had some portraits taken for our two year anniversary. I was anticipating the perfect blue sky, sunny summer day. But instead it rained and was windy and foggy. I was more than a little disappointed. At first. But it cleared up just in time, and turned out to be absolutely perfect. Needless to say, I am IN LOVE with them. Because Dawn is amazing. She did our one year photos, too, remember?

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!
Last yearβs Valentineβs Day shoot was one of my favorite indoor shoots that weβve done. So we did it again! Iβm thinkiiiiiiingβ¦. new yearly tradition?
Happy Valentineβs day, everyone!
ONE YEAR ANNIVERSAY SHOOT, PART TWO
So I had originally planned for a super snowy, winter wonderland setting for this shoot. And it seemed it was going to happen - Buffalo had gotten sooo much snow in the week leading up to our date. And then the day beforeβ¦. it warmed up to 60 degrees and all melted away. So instead of a winter wonderland, we were instead left with a few small patches of wet snow and some left over snow banks. But we made the most of it, pretending those snow banks were real mountains of snow, instead :). I actually think it still came out nicely.
Of course, it snowed again right after the shoot. Typical.
To see the first half of the shoot, see yesterdays post.

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOOT // PART ONE
We took these photos just a couple of days before Christmas, while we were home for the holidays. Yeah, our anniversary is in July. But I am so determined to have yearly anniversary photos taken, that Iβm just going to go ahead and call this the one year shoot. Even if it was 5 months late.
Our photographer, Dawn, did such an amazing job! And Iβm horrible at narrowing photos down for a post, especially when I have almost 200 awesome ones. So Iβm just going to go ahead and split this into two posts. Because I can. Check back tomorrow for the second half!
This first set was taken around town in East Aurora, NY, which is so quaint and cute. Even though we had to change plans at last minute (oh, mother nature), this urban setting was a perfect substitute to the winter wonderland we originally had planned.

Henry Darling
You guys - we adopted a kitty!
Boo and I have been trying add a little fur ball to our family for months now, but the stars just didnβt alignβ¦ until this weekend. We headed to the shelter on a gorgeous saturday, after laying out in the sun and enjoying the city, not really expecting anything. We knew how crazy the shelter can be on kitty day - lines out the door, people fighting over the poor kittens. But we got in there, laid our eyes on this little guy, and were told we could take him home that day.
His name is Henry. And he is pitch black. Heβs a cuddler, but also a little maniac. And we love him.
Youβre sure to see him around here quite a bit. And if you follow me on Instagram, you will definitely be seeing a lot of him. Iβma cat lady now.
All You Need Is Love
Happy Valentines Day!!
